With the fall of the Empire, much of what has defined Sunder is being tested. His concern for how this affects him and his friends becomes clear as they flee the scene of the recent coup and death of their leader.

Now an outlaw, Sunder steps up to take the role of unofficial leader in the trio. As the Caracal of the Chimera, Sunder is silent and graceful, even regal in the ease with which he fights and lives.
